DOG FRIENDLY!
Visiting from the UK and almost everywhere in Ireland closes their doors to dog owners.
We wandered around Galway with all outdoor spaces full but thankfully we found this great cafe.
Delicious, freshly made sandwiches (Veggie friendly too!) and great coffee too! 🙏

I sat down at this café and ordered a smoothie.
At first, the service was friendly… until I discovered there were two frozen balls of spinach still sitting in the drink.
Thinking it was a mistake, I asked for an explanation. The staff member’s response? “Eat it like that.”
I have to admit, I wasn’t familiar with this innovative way of enjoying a smoothie chewing on frozen spinach balls.
If that’s how it’s supposed to be served, I’d genuinely love to know.
The smoothie was disappointing, but the rude attitude made the experience even worse.
Definitely not a place I’ll be coming back to.

After 3 days and stopping at numerous cafes in Galway this is the one I return to for the best Flatwhite and snacks. Worth a visit.

My husband and I enjoyed Americanos and carrot cake and a rocky road bar. We enjoyed both! The coffee was rich with no bitterness. Both desserts were enjoyable and pleasantly plated. There is a single restroom. Music is playing in the background, but is not overwhelming.

Loved this place. A small bit from the well worn main paths of Galway town, this is worth a diversion. We have nice things to say about the coffee and food, but first it must be said that the service was nothing short of excellent. Friendly, efficient and effective with some charm and charisma on the side. Well done.
But as coffee was the focus let me tell you that I had a second cappuccino, a rare thing for me. It was smooth and nicely strong. Not a hint of acidity in the finish. Excellent. A better than usual offering of pastry etc and all served nicely. Try this out. There are more of them throughout Galway and up to Ballina. Long may they expand.
